Privacy Policy

Giga Lotus LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile game Vecpets. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when it is shared when you use Vecpets.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to run the game, support accounts, improve stability, and respond to player reports.
- Account and sign-in information: Your email address, account identifier, and sign-in session information are used to create and secure your Vecpets account, keep you signed in, and sync progress across devices.
- Optional Google Sign-In data: If you choose Google Sign-In or link a Google account in Settings, Google and Firebase provide the account identifiers and authentication credentials needed to sign you in or link that provider to your Vecpets account.
- Optional Sign in with Apple data: If you choose Sign in with Apple or link an Apple Account in Settings, Apple and Firebase provide the account identifiers and authentication credentials needed to sign you in or link that provider to your Vecpets account. If you choose Hide My Email, we receive and store the private relay email address Apple provides as your account email.
- Game profile and save data: We store your Vecpets game data, such as your username, pets, progression, inventory, in-game progress, and settings, so the game works properly and your progress is saved.
- Information other players can see: Your username, pet names, and some gameplay stats (such as rank, power, and level) are visible to other signed-in players on rankings and public profiles. If you use the marketplace, other players can see your username, store title, greeting, and the listings you publish.
- Usage analytics: On supported mobile builds, we use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is used. This may include events such as app opens, sign-in and sign-up method, tutorial progress, game session starts and completions, major screens viewed, and whether a rewarded video offer was started or completed. When you are signed in, analytics may be associated with your account identifier. We do not include your email address, passwords, pet names, or free-text feedback in analytics events.
- Crash and diagnostic data: On supported mobile builds, we use Firebase Crashlytics and related diagnostic logging to help diagnose crashes and serious errors. Crash and diagnostic reports may include device type, platform, operating system version, app version, general gameplay context, crash stack traces, short error messages, and an account identifier when available. We do not intentionally include passwords, sign-in tokens, or other secrets in these reports.
- Website analytics: On vecpets.com we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. This may include pages viewed and general device and browser information.
- Optional feedback and player reports: If you use in-game Submit feedback, we collect what you choose to send us, such as a bug or suggestion description, an optional screenshot, and basic technical information about the app and device needed to investigate the report. If you report another player, we collect the reported username, the reason you select, and any details you add. Player reports do not include a screenshot.
- Optional rewarded ads: On supported mobile builds, Entertain can show a rewarded video through Google AdMob. If you start one, Google may receive your device advertising identifier, IP address, and information about your interaction with the ad, under Google's policies. Owning the Ad-Free Pack skips that video. The same in-game reward can still be granted on its cooldown.
- In-app purchase records: If you buy a product through Google Play or the App Store, we receive store transaction identifiers, product identifiers, and purchase status so we can grant, restore, and (when the store reports a refund) update paid entitlements on your game profile. We do not receive your full payment card number. The store processes payment.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate players and keep Vecpets accounts secure.
- Store and sync gameplay progress.
- Show your username, pet names, and selected gameplay stats to other players on rankings, public profiles, and the marketplace.
- Understand product usage and improve game design.
- Show optional rewarded ads and measure whether an offer was started or completed.
- Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes, bugs, and abuse.
- Review and respond to player-submitted bug reports, suggestions, and reports of other players.
- Verify in-app purchases, grant paid entitlements, prevent duplicate grants, and apply store refunds to those entitlements.
3. Third-Party Service Providers and Sharing
We use the following service providers to operate Vecpets:
- Firebase Authentication: To manage account login sessions.
- Google Sign-In: To provide optional Google-based login on supported platforms.
- Sign in with Apple: To provide optional Apple-based login on supported platforms.
- Firebase cloud storage and backend services: To store account and gameplay progress data.
- Firebase Analytics: To measure aggregated game usage.
- Google Analytics: To measure how vecpets.com is used.
- Google AdMob: To show optional rewarded video ads on supported mobile builds.
- Firebase Crashlytics: To collect crash and serious diagnostic reports.
- Discord: If you submit in-game feedback or a player report, it may be delivered to our support tools through Discord.
- Google Play Billing: To process Android in-app purchases.
- Apple In-App Purchase: To process iOS in-app purchases when that storefront offers them.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed to run Vecpets, maintain the service, analyze product usage, or process player-submitted reports. Third-party providers handle data under their own terms and policies, including the Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, and the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Data Retention and Security
We retain account and gameplay data for as long as your Vecpets account remains active or as needed to operate the service. Analytics, crash, and feedback records may also be retained in our systems and in the systems of service providers we use for troubleshooting, security, and product analysis.
We use commercially reasonable security measures, including HTTPS/TLS for data in transit and managed cloud infrastructure for storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
5. Account and Data Deletion
How to delete your account
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. You can initiate this by:
- Using the "Delete Account" option found in the Vecpets Settings Menu.
- Emailing us at [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."
Upon request, we will delete your Vecpets account data, including associated gameplay progress, from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to operational backups and legal obligations. If you used Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, deleting your Vecpets account does not delete your Google account or Apple Account itself.
6. Children's Privacy
Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and aware that your child has provided us with an email, please contact us immediately.
