Comfort

Comfort is a ship-wide attribute derived from your placed artifacts. It shows on the ship top HUD next to Bits and Rank, and it speeds up how fast pets refill Stamina while they are on your ship.

Where comfort comes from

Each artifact has its own Comfort contribution value, and leveling an artifact through Integration scales that value up. Your ship’s total Comfort is the sum across every artifact you currently have placed:

$$\text{comfort} = \sum_{i \in \text{placed artifacts}} \text{comfort}_i \times \text{scaling}_i^{\,\text{level}_i - 1}$$

Placing more artifacts, or leveling the ones you have, both raise the total. Removing an artifact from the ship removes its contribution immediately.

Comfort and Stamina recovery

While a pet is on the ship or in training, total Comfort adds directly onto that pet’s Stamina recovery rate:

$$\text{stamina rate} = \text{stamina rate}_{\text{base}} + \text{comfort} \times k$$

where $k = 0.015$ is a fixed constant. Every point of Comfort adds the same fixed amount of Stamina recovery, so the bonus scales smoothly with however many artifacts you have placed and leveled.

This bonus only applies while a pet is resting on the ship or training. It does not change Stamina rules during an exploration or auto run.
