Slow obelisks

Stand in the glowing ring until it finishes charging. The tower opens a tagging window for 20 seconds, pulsing with energy and showing a countdown of seconds remaining above it. Monolith Bonus Duration research stretches that window the same way it stretches timed monolith bonuses. While the window is open, every non-boss Vora in the zone and every non-boss that spawns is granted Slowed. How long Slowed lasts is on that page. The countdown above the tower is only when new Slowed can land. It is not when Slowed ends. Bosses keep full speed. Overlapping Slow towers stack Slowed. Each extra stack halves remaining walk speed, so two stacks leave a quarter of full speed. When the countdown reaches zero the tower stops tagging and goes inert. Vora that already have Slowed keep crawling until that status expires.

If the pet is still in the charge ring when a Slow tower is mined out, tagging still opens. A mined-out Slow tower keeps standing and tagging until the window closes, then sinks. Mining never cuts the window short and does not remove Slowed already on Vora.
